Audubon California Chapter Assembly 2006
Saving the Endangered Species Act
Almost 200 people enjoyed a fun and
educational gathering during the
2006 Audubon Assembly.
On
March 19, 20, and 21, Audubon California hosted the Chapter Assembly
at the beautiful coastal Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove.
Chapter leaders, volunteers, fellow birders, scientists and friends gathered for two days of workshops, birding, and an
exclusive evening at the Monterey Bay Aquarium!
This year’s theme
was Saving the
Endangered Species Act. The Assembly was a wonderful variety of interactive
workshops, plenary sessions, renowned speakers emphasizing the
importance of effective conservation of California’s endangered species
and their habitat.
