A group of ranchers, researchers, regulators and environmentalists in Yolo County are working with Audubon California’s Landowner Stewardship Program to see if native grasslands and oak woodlands can play a role in the fight against global warming.

The Audubon Center at Debs Park is screening four different environmentally-themed movies this summer as part of its second annual summer film series. The film series is an effort to engage the urban community that surrounds Debs Park to the center, and to issues related to birds, wildlife, and conservation. Before the movie, a bilingual bird walk is offered at 7 p.m.
